I'm Sami, and I built SupoClip.
AI clipping tools are genuinely good, but your usage is metered by plan, some exports carry the platform's branding, and your content and workflow live on someone else's servers. I wanted the same pipeline without that, so I built it in the open.
What it does: give it a long video (a YouTube link or a file) and it
• transcribes it with word-level timestamps
• has an LLM pick the strongest 15–60 second moments and score each one for hook, engagement, value and shareability
• crops to 9:16 around the speaker's face, with split screens for wide shots
• burns in word-synced animated captions and an AI-written hook title
• optionally adds B-roll, then lets you trim, split or merge and export for TikTok, Reels or Shorts
