StartupWiki
The free startup database powered by AI
StartupWiki uses AI research agents to investigate and maintain startup profiles automatically. Search companies, track emerging startups, export research, and explore startup ecosystems through a constantly evolving knowledge base built for founders, investors, and builders. Our profils are free for the community, unlike crunchbase or pitchbook.
Hi everyone 👋
I'm Pranesh, the creator of StartupWiki.
StartupWiki started from a simple frustration: startup research tools have become increasingly expensive and inaccessible for students, founders, investors, and curious builders.
I wanted to see whether AI could help build and maintain a startup database at a scale that would normally require a large team.
Today StartupWiki contains thousands of startup profiles and continues to grow.
I'd love feedback on:
What information do you wish startup databases exposed?
What's your biggest frustration with Crunchbase and similar tools?
What should I build next?
I'll be around all day answering every question and collecting feedback.
Thanks for checking it out!

Who hunted StartupWiki?
StartupWiki was hunted by Pranesh Shivaraj. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
