Skep

Cross-device live sessions for local coding agents

Skep is a thin, open-source session bus that lets coding agents on different machines join one live session. One machine becomes the master; peers join with a short code + host and keep running your own local Claude Code, Codex, or Pi. No accounts, no cloud relay — and your API keys never leave your devices. Apache-2.0. Install with npm i -g @skepagent/skep.

Top comment

Hey everyone — I'm the maker of Skep. I built it because I run coding agents on multiple machines (Claude Code on my laptop, another on a VPS) and wanted them to share one live session without uploading my API keys to someone's cloud. One machine masters, others join with a code + host, keys stay on each device. It's Apache-2.0 and installable via npm. Happy to answer any protocol or threat-model questions!
