Rota Hub
Free rota planning and staff management software
Create a staff rota in minutes, free. Plan weekly shifts for your pub, café, hotel or shop - track hours and pay, print it, and share a read-only link with your team. No sign-up needed.
Rota Hub started as a personal project to help friends working in hospitality who were struggling with rising costs during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. As I received more feedback from businesses, I continued developing it into a simple, easy-to-use staff rota planner focused on solving everyday scheduling problems without unnecessary complexity.
I've deliberately kept the running costs as low as possible, which means I don't need to charge users or require them to create an account. Rota Hub is completely free to use, with no sign-ups, subscriptions, or hidden fees. My goal is simply to provide a practical scheduling tool that helps small businesses save time and money.

Who hunted Rota Hub?
Rota Hub was hunted by Tom Heeley. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
