Suddenly, your landlord is viewing your personal WhatsApp status, and a one-off marketplace buyer pops up in your Facebook friend suggestions.
As an engineer, I wanted a clean, technically sound solution to plug this privacy leak without needing to buy a second phone or manage a dual-SIM setup.
I built Recontact to completely sandbox these specific contacts. It keeps them isolated from social media and data-harvesting apps, while still giving you reliable caller identification when they actually call you.
It is a single, paid upfront download. There are zero subscriptions, zero ads, and absolute data ownership.
