Hello! I became enamored with the idea of how to use technology to help people find their pets that go missing. After all, pets are animals and their behavior can be random. Sure, there are tracking collars and other systems like identification chips, but those can either be expensive, run out of battery, or don't actually actively track where your pet is at any given moment. The common denominator is social media—nearly everyone is on social media. So I created Puppy Platoon to allow any pet owner to create hyperlocal Facebook and Instagram ads that target a small radius of where the pet was last seen to drive awareness. Pet owners can get thousands of eyeballs on their lost pet by doing this.
