Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm the developer of Overtitle. This started as a personal itch: I bought a show on the macOS Apple TV app and there was simply no subtitle track in the language I wanted. With DRM you can't mux in your own subtitles, browser extensions can't reach the native TV app, and nothing worked in full screen. Older "floating subtitle" tools made you start a timer and manually align the timeline — ten minutes and one pause later, everything had drifted. So I built Overtitle to read the *real* playback position instead of guessing. It's a separate floating window over the Apple TV app (including native full screen). It reads the actual playback position and fuses two clocks to stay locked: pause and it pauses, seek and it jumps within a heartbeat, and when the video buffers the subtitles wait instead of racing ahead.
