MyListResort
Groceries, chores and home upkeep in one shared list
Groceries, chores, home maintenance, events, recipes: one app your household shares in real time. The part other list apps skip: tap "opened" on an item and it starts an estimated freshness countdown built from public USDA storage data, so half a jar of salsa stops becoming a science project. Installs straight from the browser, works offline, scans barcodes, and sends morning and evening reminders. Free tier is genuinely usable. Paid is $14.99/year. No ads, no data selling, ever.
We kept throwing out food that got opened and shoved to the back of the
fridge. Half a jar of salsa, some deli meat, stuff opened for one recipe and
never touched again.
Went looking for an app and didn't find one I liked. Grocery list apps stop at
the checkout. Pantry apps want you to inventory your whole kitchen, which
nobody in my house was going to do.
I ended up building my own. It turned into more than groceries pretty fast:
* groceries, with an estimated freshness countdown when you tap "opened"
(public USDA storage data)
* chores and allowance for the kids
* home maintenance
* events and planning
* recipes
* general checklists
Shared in real time, offline support, installs from the browser. No data selling or Ads on free or paid tiers.
