Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Munra because every journaling app I tried eventually asked me to trust a server with my most private thoughts, or hid the good parts behind a subscription. Munra doesn't do either. It's fully offline. Entries live in an encrypted SQLite database on your phone, and there's no account, no paywall, no pro tier. Everything is free for everyone. A few things I'm proud of: 1. Speech-to-text transcribed entirely on device, audio never leaves your phone 2. A daily mood check-in tracked separately from entries, so it never clutters your writing 3. Streaks and word count insights that build the habit without gamifying it into a chore 4. An optional AI writing companion, with prompts, gentle reflections, and a chat that remembers past entries, that only turns on if you bring your own API key 5.
