Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Matt, the maker of Mixos. I built this because I kept running into the same wall: Substance Painter is incredible but $50/month is steep if you're a freelancer, hobbyist, or student, and it won't run on a Chromebook or a work machine where you can't install software. Mixos runs entirely in your browser. WebGPU does the heavy lifting so the viewport is genuinely real-time, not a preview. The AI side generates full PBR map sets (not just a diffuse texture) from a text prompt, which cuts a lot of the tedious back-and-forth. Happy to answer any questions about the tech stack, WebGPU quirks, or why I made certain design decisions. Would love your feedback!
