Hi Product Hunt! mazemaze grew out of a simple problem: I wanted more contact with another language without turning every article into a separate study session. Choose a language and a mix ratio. Some sentences change while the surrounding text keeps the context familiar. Click a translated sentence to check the original, or undo the mix. Japanese, English, Korean, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese are supported. On supported desktop Chrome, built-in translation runs on your computer without an account or API key. An optional Gemini or OpenAI connection uses your own key, sends selected text directly to that provider, and follows that provider's pricing. mazemaze existed before the Astra Challenge. For this launch, GPT-6 Astra in Codex helped research alternatives, assess the first-use experience, review changes and verify the published explanations of compatibility, privacy and API costs. Gemini and Claude in Antigravity also contributed to development. I'd love to hear which pages and language combinations you would use this on, and what mix ratio feels comfortable.
