Make your iPhone Duo screen a creative studio with adjustable screen lighting, a live makeup mirror, color animations, and personal photo displays. LumaFold lets you use two screen areas differently. Light your face while checking your makeup, pair two colors for a creative shot, or combine a favorite photo with a handwritten message. LIGHT FOR YOUR BEAUTY ROUTINE Use the live camera mirror on one side and adjustable light on the other.

When Apple announced its foldable iPhone Duo, I immediately started thinking about what I could build around that screen. What could you do if each half had its own role?
That question became LumaFold.
For makeup and everyday touch-ups, one half shows a live view from the front camera while the other lights your face, with adjustable brightness and color. You can also turn both halves into separate light panels, combine colors for creative lighting, or simply enjoy a flowing animation beside you.
I’m really happy to share it with you here. Building it has been a chance to explore a new device format through small, useful and playful experiences.
I’d love to hear what you think. What would you use it for? What feels useful, and what could work better? Your feedback will help me decide what to improve next.
Thanks for taking a look!
