I'm Aleksei, the developer of Lease Log.

A camera roll holds the pictures, but finding which room, date and stage of a tenancy they belong to can be awkward later. Lease Log keeps one tenancy together: a guided room walkthrough, dated photos, repair notes, payments and communications.

Capture, records and manual backup are free. The optional purchase is the complete PDF export: $4.99 once in the US, with regional prices varying. There is no subscription or account to create. It requires iOS 26 or later.

The app organizes your own records; it does not certify evidence or guarantee a deposit refund. The screenshot is a demonstration record.

You can also use the free move-in checklist at https://bukhalov.com/leaselog/ch... without installing the app.

For renters who have tried keeping a photo record: was taking the pictures or finding the right ones later the harder part?

Lease Log was hunted by Aleksei Bukhalov. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
