JMR Publisher
Content engineering for Arabic-first nonprofits
JMR Publisher is a Windows app built by the Digital Citizen Association (Smara, Morocco) to manage its digital content. Members plan posts in a shared calendar, adapt one draft for 10 social channels, send it for approval, and follow each channel's status live. A health page warns before any account link expires. Fully right-to-left Arabic UI, team roles, auto-updates. Currently available to association members only.
I'm Alaa from the Digital Citizen Association, a small nonprofit in Smara, Morocco. We also made Tayr, a platform for reporting city issues.
Our team runs content for several programs (book reviews, digital security tips, civic education…) across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Threads, Telegram, Discord and more. The tools we tried were built for English-speaking marketing teams: left-to-right, per-seat pricing, and no approval flow for volunteers.
So we built JMR Publisher for ourselves:
One draft, every channel: per-channel captions, a story designer, pre-flight checks
Team workflow: editors draft, managers approve, admins manage accounts
Shared calendar: drag posts, duplicate them, bring them back next year
Account health: green / orange / red, with expiry dates and one-click renew
Arabic first: the whole interface is right-to-left
Today it's an internal tool, available to our members only. We'd love your feedback: would other associations in the Arab world find this useful?
Thanks for reading 🧡
