Impetus
The ADHD companion that forgives you for having a bad day
Impetus is an AI coach for ADHD brains. Just talk to it. It breaks the inertia, shrinks the task, and helps you actually start. Built by a founder with ADHD.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I have ADHD. I've downloaded basically every to-do app in existence, and they all fail me the exact same way: it works for two weeks, then I have one bad day, the app buries me in red overdue badges and broken streaks, and I delete it out of shame.
Those apps are built for consistent brains. ADHD brains aren't consistent. That's not a discipline problem, it's a design problem.
So I built Impetus, the task app that forgives you. Miss a day and nothing turns red. Miss a week and it helps you restart instead of showing you the wreckage. Capture thoughts the second they hit, keep today small, treat restarting as normal instead of failure.
A few honest details:
• 14-day free trial, no credit card
• When the trial ends your data stays readable. I don't hold your tasks hostage
• I built this for myself first and use it every single day
I'd love honest feedback, especially from ADHD folks: what's the app that guilt-tripped you the hardest? I'm building the antidote, so tell me what to kill next.
