Hi Product Hunt! IKUISTA started from a simple frustration: buying a premium bike often still means accepting someone else’s choices. The frame may be right, but the wheels, drivetrain, cockpit or colours are not — and replacing parts immediately after purchase makes little sense. We wanted to build carbon road and gravel bikes differently: assembled in Tampere, Finland, configured around the rider and sold without unnecessary layers between the builder and customer. The original idea was simply to create a Finnish bike brand. While developing the bikes, it evolved into a modular system where riders can choose the components that actually suit their riding, budget and preferences. We have spent a lot of time refining the frames, specifications, configurator and the overall buying experience. We are still at the beginning, and that is exactly why we are launching here.
