While tools like Postman, Bruno, Insomnia, and Hoppscotch are excellent, I wanted something that was completely local, open source, and privacy-first. Many API clients now encourage cloud accounts, syncing, or online workspaces. I wanted to build an alternative where developers have full control over their data. With HttpForge, your collections, environments, and requests stay on your machine unless you choose to share them.
