Hello! 👋 I built Gamelook because I kept returning to games after months (or even years) and facing the same question: what changed while I was away? The answer was usually scattered across Steam announcements, publisher websites, patch notes, and enormous changelogs. I didn’t need another gaming news feed. I needed a quick way to catch up and decide whether a game was worth returning to. Gamelook started as a simple patch feed, but evolved into searchable, year-by-year timelines covering patch notes, DLC, balance changes, and major milestones. You can browse more than 400 games without an account, save the ones you care about (with an account), or use the Chrome extension while browsing Steam. The project is still evolving, and I’d really value your feedback: - Does the timeline make it easier to understand what you missed? - Which games or sources should I prioritize next? - What would make Gamelook useful enough to revisit regularly?
