Top comment
As a developer, I kept seeing students run code successfully but still struggle to understand what was actually happening behind the scenes. A terminal only shows the final output, it doesn't show variables changing, loops iterating, functions being called, or algorithms evolving step by step. I wanted to build something that made code feel visual and intuitive instead of abstract. That idea eventually became Flame. Over the last two years, I built Flame to help students learn by seeing code execute, help teachers create programming exercises faster, and make it easy for developers to turn code into engaging animated visualizations. My goal is simple: make programming easier to understand and more enjoyable to learn.
