eXo Platform 7.2
A unified digital workplace powered by native AI
eXo Platform 7.2 is an open-source digital workplace that unifies collaboration, communication, and knowledge management in one platform. This release introduces native AI inside everyday workflows, helping reduce tool fragmentation while keeping full control over data and infrastructure. Features include multi-LLM support, unified workspace, and flexible deployment (cloud, private cloud, on-premise). Built for organizations seeking modern collaboration without vendor lock-in.
Hey everyone 👋 I’m part of the team behind eXo Platform.
This release (7.2) is a big step for us because we’ve been working on bringing AI directly into a collaborative digital workplace, instead of treating it as a separate tool.
A lot of organizations we work with are facing the same issues: too many tools, fragmented workflows, and growing concerns around where their data and AI workloads actually run.
With this version, we focused on:
- integrating AI directly into everyday work (not as an add-on) - giving flexibility with different LLMs (cloud or self-hosted) - keeping full control over deployment and data (cloud, private, or on-prem)
Would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or even critical takes, especially on how you see AI fitting into collaboration tools going forward.
Happy to answer any questions 🙌
