Hey, I'm the co-founder behind eComX — formerly SalesHunterThemes, which I started back in 2017. The honest answer to "why did you build this" is that we spent years doing Shopify store optimization and client work before we ever shipped a theme. That work was the education. And the thing that kept coming up, store after store, was this: the way a shopper decides to buy a jacket is completely different from how they decide to buy a router. Different again for a moisturizer, or a sofa. Each of those buyer types has a distinct decision path: what they need to see first, what builds enough confidence to place the order, where they drop off if the store doesn't match their mental model. But every general Shopify theme we looked at applied the same layout logic to all of them. Same structure, same content hierarchy, same assumptions about how buyers move through a store. So we built four themes, each one built around how that buyer type actually makes decisions, not adapted from a generic template. Nine years of store optimization and client work, 5,000+ merchants, and a rebrand later, we're here as eComX. The full lineup is at ecomx.co if you want to dig in. We're genuinely curious what the Product Hunt community thinks about the niche-per-buyer-type approach. Does this match what you've seen in your own store — or in stores you've worked with? Happy to get into the specifics of any of the four themes.
