Cuewake for Mac
Leave it here. Find it when you're back.
Ever come back to your Mac and forget what you were doing? Cuewake lets you leave yourself a quick note, checklist, link or file right where you're working: an app, a webpage, a Finder folder or a project. When you come back, a little ghost peeks out of the notch to remind you. Set reminders in plain words like "tomorrow at 9". Works fully offline. No account, no subscription, no AI.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Cuewake because I kept writing things down and still forgetting them. The problem wasn't the note. It was that when I found it again, I'd forgotten where it belonged. I'd notice something while designing, remember something while browsing, or realize what I needed to do next in a project. I could put it in Notes or Reminders, but that separated the thought from the place where it actually made sense. So I started building around a different idea: What if the place itself could become the reminder? Cuewake lets you leave a note, checklist, link, or file with what you're working on. Move on, then come back and find the cue waiting there. It's a native Mac app, local-first, and a one-time purchase with no subscription. I built Cuewake independently and spent a slightly unreasonable amount of time on the tiny details of leaving something and finding it again. I'd genuinely love your feedback. If you try it, tell me what you'd want to leave behind for later.
