Hey Product Hunt 👋
I run a woodworking business with a few partners, and honestly, this app was born out of pure frustration.
Here's the mess we lived in: on any given project, I'd collect a payment from a client, a partner would collect another, and each of us would cover different expenses out of pocket — materials here, a supplier bill there. By the end of a job, nobody could say who had put in what, who was owed, or where the money actually went. We were reconstructing it from memory, WhatsApp messages, and a pile of receipts. It caused real tension.
So I built CostTalk — a shared ledger for teams who spend and collect money together. Every entry is automatically credited or debited to the person who made it, so at any moment you can see each partner's real balance. No more end-of-project arguments.
It grew from there. Now it also:

It runs on Android, Windows, and Web — same account, synced live — so I can log an expense on my phone on-site and my partner can review the books from his desk.
