Clash

Manage conflicts across worktrees for parallel coding agents

Clash detects Git merge conflicts across worktrees before they happen. When multiple AI coding agents work in parallel, each agent is blind to what the others are changing. Clash monitors active worktrees and warns about overlapping edits early. It runs locally, is read-only, and integrates with tools like Claude Code through hooks and structured JSON, helping you catch conflicts while agents are still working instead of at merge time.

Top comment

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built Clash after running multiple AI coding agents in parallel and repeatedly hitting the same problem: each agent works in its own git worktree, but has no idea what the other agents are changing. By the time a merge conflict appears, a lot of work may already be done. Clash detects those conflicts while the agents are still working. It runs locally, never modifies your repo, and can integrate directly with Claude Code to check for conflicts before edits happen. It’s open source and still early, so I’d really appreciate feedback from anyone experimenting with parallel coding agents.

Who hunted Clash?

Clash was hunted by Mathew Kuriakose. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
