Catchup

Cultivate intentional relationships

Friends and family are among the most precious things we have. But some of us could use an extra nudge to keep in touch. Catchup is a little app to provide that nudge.

Top comment

Catchup is a simple iPhone app to help you stay in touch with friends and family. I built Catchup to solve a pain point I've felt for years: I have friends and family living elsewhere whom I care about, yet months go by without us talking. I care deeply about these people… but life is busy. I realized I needed to develop a habit and align my actions with my intentions. Since releasing Catchup, I've heard from lots of people from all around the world that they experience the same problem - and thankfully, the app has helped them, too. Catchup works simply: Add friends and family from your contacts list. Set intentions for how often you'd like to connect with them. Then just tap "Check In" every time you do. The app reminds you when it's been longer than you've intended since you connected. Try out the app with up to 2 contacts for free. Then upgrade for unlimited contacts and access to notifications and a widget.

Who hunted Catchup?

Catchup was hunted by Chris Lee. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
