Hello everyone. In this vast world we live in, countless people come and go. But in our long yet fleeting lives, how many people do our trajectories actually cross with to form a real 'connection'? I wanted to create a space that could announce 'my existence, your existence, and our existence' to the world amidst the sea of passing strangers, and connect those existences globally. Inspired by the pronunciation of the Korean word for 'Existence' (존재, Jon-Jae), I developed [ZonZay]—a location-based social web app that transcends physical distances to connect people through their real-time locations and life trajectories. ZonZay is more than just a map that records where you've been. It's a canvas where you can shout your existence to the world, and sometimes, engrave memories with your loved ones for eternity. ✨ Core Features of [ZonZay] 📍 1. Leave Your Mark on the World, or Just for Us (Drop Marks) By tapping anywhere on the map, you can leave your own customized marker containing photos and text. The marks you leave exist in two ways: Public Mode: Anyone around the world can see your mark. However, this mark will create a brief ripple in the world and completely disappear after 3 days. (A serendipitous connection with passing strangers) Private Mode: Only the precious people you've added as 'Friends' can see this mark, and it will remain engraved on the map forever. (A permanent memory with your cherished ones) 🏃 2. Share Your Trajectory in the Moment (Live GPS Tracking) You can draw your real-time journey—whether you're walking, running, or traveling—as a live trajectory on the map. Private Tracking: Share exactly where you're heading in real-time, exclusively with your close friends. Public Tracking: Transparently share your journey with the world. If someone finds your path interesting, they can join your journey through the 'View Live Track' feature, leaving real-time comments and chatting with you!
