“Prompt to production-ready app” gets thrown around a lot, but starting from DB + logic might actually make it real this time.
The "schema IS the spec" point is critical. I've spent too much time debugging apps where the UI dictates database changes, leading to brittle systems.
Glad to see the focus on SQL migrations and preserving data integrity. Scaling real-world applications means the schema will evolve, and mishandling migrations is a fast path to production issues. Consistency across the stack is key.
