We built ZeroChat after realizing how easily people are turning into data mines in the AI era.
Most modern communication systems promote privacy through end-to-end encryption, while metadata like interaction patterns, timing, IP exposure, and network relationships still remain visible.
During development, we started exploring the less obvious areas where privacy leaks actually happen : signup flows, peer-to-peer connections exposing IP addresses, timing-based patterns, and more.
ZeroChat became our attempt to minimize these leak points one by one while still keeping communication real-time and usable.
This is still an evolving project, and we’d genuinely love feedback from people interested in privacy, distributed systems, and security 🚀
