Zenkan is a personal note-taking app with a 3-level nested board system for effortless organization. Drag, resize, and arrange your notes and tasks freely in a flexible workspace with Markdown support for rich text formatting.
Hi everyone! I created this app because I found myself a bit overwhelmed with Notion's complex and rigid databases (especially their kanban view), while also thinking that Google Keep was not structured enough for my needs. Zenkan is a bit in the middle, it allows you to write resizable and rich text notes with Markdown formatting (H1/2/3 titles, center text, code blocks, etc) organized into nested boards with a nice drag-and-drop feel to it. Let me know if you have anything to say about the app!
hey this looks really neat! wish i saw this earlier. i feel the same about notion being too much sometimes, and keep is like... too little? lol. zenkan seems like a good balance, maybe smarter for organizing quick thoughts visually. i can see myself using this for brainstorming project ideas. just throwing stuff on boards and moving them around freely sounds nice. much better than rigid lists sometimes ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ congrats on the launch peti_poua and team! looks promising.
Zenkan looks like a thoughtful middle ground between structure and simplicity, how does it handle search or filtering across nested boards? Would love to hear more about how it scales with lots of notes.
