Zapurr tracks your pet's meals, meds, walks and vet records — and puts strays, lost pets and blood donors near you on a live map. Photograph a vaccination card and it files itself. Then turn your pet into a die-cut sticker and send it into a shared night sky.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Jhon, and I've been building Zapurr on my own for two months. It started before the code did, with a stray cat I fed for months. I wanted to put her on a map so someone else might help — and realised I didn't want to tell anyone exactly where she slept. Everything in the app that isn't about your own pet grew out of that one problem. Most pet apps stop at your own pet. Zapurr does that part properly — meals, meds, walks, weight, vet records — but it also assumes you notice the animals that aren't yours. There's a live map of strays, lost pets and blood donors near you, and reporting a stray takes a photo and about ten seconds. The part I'd most like feedback on is how that map handles location. Sending strangers to an exact pin felt wrong — it's someone's garden, or someone's feeding spot, and in my case it was hers. A stray can be moved or hurt by people who found it too easily. So a new report shows an approximate area. The precise spot appears only once a second, independent member confirms the same animal. Accounts under 18 never see exact locations at all. I'd genuinely like to know whether that's the right trade. There's also a part that exists purely because I wanted it to. Snap a photo of your pet and Zapurr cuts it out into a die-cut sticker. Those go on a Board, or into Orbit — a shared night sky where everyone's pets are stars you can spin and boop — or into Chains, a weekly thread where members each add one pet to the strand. Free to use. Pro is $2.99/mo and unlocks Oracle health alerts, sitter links, Body & Mobility Scan, Trim and Weekly Pulse. iOS today; Android is in progress. Happy to go into anything — the OCR, how the cut-out works, or why a solo dev building a pet-health app ended up making a night sky.

Who hunted Zapurr?

Zapurr was hunted by Bored Hooman. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
