I built YTD because I kept hitting the same wall: I'd find a video I wanted to save, paste the URL into some sketchy site, and get hit with pop-up ads, redirects, or a download that didn't work.
So I made my own — a clean, fast video downloader that works the way you'd expect.
What makes YTD different:

It runs on yt-dlp under the hood — massive thanks to that project and its contributors.
