I built YT Cuts because sometimes you don't need to download an entire YouTube video — you just need one specific section.
Instead of uploading a video to another website and waiting for a cloud service to process it, YT Cuts runs locally on your own computer.

🔒 Local-first by design
There are no accounts, databases, analytics, or hosted processing jobs.
The app runs on localhost, with the browser handling the interface and a FastAPI backend using yt-dlp and FFmpeg for the media processing.

It's completely open source and free to use.
