Using Ctrl+F on YouTube Transcripts doesn't have the best UI/UX, so I built a chrome extension to inject a input search box that filters for any queries.
Happy to have been one of the beta testers for this tool! Excited for those who are about to benefit from it!
Hey @marcosha256
Is this the extension that lets me search words within YouTube video transcripts? Would it highlight the part I'm looking for so I can jump right to it?
This extension looks like a game-changer for easily finding specific information in YouTube videos! I'm always using CTRL+F to search transcripts, so this would save me a ton of time.
Congratulations on the launch! It's one of those products that really feels like it should be part of the original app. Great idea and execution.
It could really helpful if you want to go back to a specific point. I saw this feature in Microsoft teams and it's of great help to search meeting transcripts.
Nice, whats your thoughts on applying it to other use cases? This could have been nice for university lectures back in the day! ahahah
Goodluck!
Hi @marcosha256, this is brilliant! 😄 A browser extension for easy searching within YouTube transcripts is such a game-changer. Can't wait to give it a try and see how it simplifies my video research and notes. Great work! 🚀
Wow this can help save much time searching videos for relevant information! Upvoted!
This a perfect time-saving tool, especially for videos that have the real info towards the end or somewhere in the middle of the video
Congrats on the launch!
Great concept! I've been exploring the idea of starting my own YouTube channel and this really caught my attention. I've bookmarked your page for future reference. One suggestion to enhance the user experience – consider providing more detailed information on the landing page.
Hi Marco,
This extension could save so much time!
Does it work with all YouTube videos, including those with user-uploaded transcripts?
Congrats on the launch!
Cool idea. I have been interested in YouTube creation lately so bookmarked it. The thing I would recommend – try to add more info on the landing page. :) How it works (tool in use), testimonials, maybe a short video :)
Congrats on the launch! 🥳 It's clear how much effort went into this. I'll use it and support your journey. Looking forward to seeing your growth and future innovations! @marcosha256
