Hey everyone, maker here 👋
The short version of why I built this: I kept missing posts from people I actually follow because Facebook's algorithm decided they weren't worth showing me. That felt backwards. If I follow you, I should see what you post. Simple as that.
The deeper issue is what happens to your data once you're on the platform. It gets sold, and more recently it's being used to train AI models, all without a real choice on your end. I have a cybersecurity background, so that kind of thing bothers me more than most.
YourWall flips both of those. Chronological, unfiltered feed from people you follow. No selling data. No AI training on your posts. It's funded by subscriptions and tipping instead of ads, so there's nothing pushing the platform to manipulate what you see.
