As fellow language learners and tech enthusiasts, we (Sébastien and Kamil) have always struggled with one particular aspect of learning new languages: nailing the pronunciation. We'd spend hours repeating words and phrases, only to still sound unmistakably foreign. Sound familiar?
That frustration led us to create Your Best Accent, an app that uses AI to help you speak like a native.
The magic moment? When you hear "yourself" speaking your target language perfectly. It's incredibly motivating!

As a long-time language learner, this is so cool! Pronunciation is tough especially if you are using new muscles in your mouth, so this would be super helpful. Congrats and I am looking forward to see how it evolves!
I imagine the idea is that it is inherently easier for you to “mimic” your own voice compared to any other voice. I wonder is there is another psychological effect too. Curious to try this.
How does practicing with a voice clone make you understand cultural nuances and real-world conversations better, seems kinda limited and off, maybe adding real person interactions could help?
