As a macOS user, I've lost work countless times by accidentally hitting Cmd+Q. It’s a small mistake with a big consequence. To fix this, I built yiQGuard for fellow macOS users: a tiny, free, and open-source tool to prevent accidental exits.
What it does:
Two Modes: Choose between 'Double-Tap' (press Cmd+Q twice within 1.5 seconds to quit) or 'Dialog' mode.
System-wide: Protects every app on your Mac, not just a few.
Why Open Source? I believe a utility like this should be completely free and transparent. No tracking. No ads. Just honest, reliable protection [11†L9].
