Rich folks take loans against their assets all the time. This is how they avoid selling and triggering capital gains while still enjoying liquidity. For the rest of us there are several ways to do this and box spread financing is IMHO the best one. Because it is DIY friendly and convenient. But the subject of options trading tends to confuse people. This is what yieldbard solves it gives yout the tool and data to size and track your box spreads. You are still required to get your hands dirty but that is what makes it so cheap. Instead of paying an advisor you can get the financing yourself.
