We built Yemplea because hiring boat crew in Spain was still done through WhatsApp groups and word of mouth. Skippers, charter companies, and shipowners had no real tool — and crew had no way to showcase their certifications or find seasonal contracts in one place.

We're a tiny team, launched in beta 6 months ago, and already have 1,000+ crew profiles and real job placements. The niche is real — there are hundreds of charter companies in Spain that still can't find qualified crew for the summer season.
