Hi PH! I’m Cat, and I’m one of the engineers that worked on the YC library, alongside @katherine_bernstein. We’re excited to show you the reimagined YC Library!
We first launched the Library in 2020, and it has proven to be a tremendous resource since; much of the stuff in there has been viewed hundreds of thousands or millions of times.
With this redesign, it’s much easier for founders to keep up with our growing lineup of new video series and and for future founders to explore the wealth of content we’ve made over the years.
The new Library will always be growing — as we release new content, as we expand its archives of prior releases, and as we continue to build out its functionality.
If you have any ideas for things we should add to the library, let us know in the comments!

Congratulations on the launch ?makers. I've long used the YC library for startup advice. A potential resource that would be helpful for founders would be a guide to Customer support for Startups (or how founders should approach Customer support). Searched for this but couldn't find it in the library.
Now for a shameless plug - we (ClearFeed.ai) help startups scale their customer support on Slack (some YC startups amongst our customers as well) and we'd love to collaborate on a resource.
There has never been so many resources to help you launch your startup. Great to see YC putting up this page to organize all their great content.
I come from a small town called Vasai from Maharashtra, India. I do not have access to genuine wanting-to-help people like those I see YC's videos here, like you would easily have access to in say, Silicon Valley.
YC's videos have always been of great value to me. I just though you, the engineering team, that makes this possible would like to know.
TL;DR: You're creating value thousands of miles away in a small town of India by creating a better platform for YC's treasure trove: the videos.
Wow, this is an amazing resource for all things YC! I love how the YC Library has been revamped to make it even easier to access all the valuable startup content.
I have a few questions: Are there any plans to include transcripts or captions for the videos and podcasts? This would be incredibly helpful for those who prefer reading or are hearing impaired.
Also, I noticed that there is a vast amount of content from over the years. Have you considered implementing a rating or feedback system where users can rate and review the content? This could help highlight the most valuable and popular resources, making it easier for newcomers to navigate through the library.
Lastly, I came across an article on Medium that provides some great insights into YC's impact on the startup ecosystem. It might be interesting to include it in the library as an external resource. Here's the link: [insert link]
