I built Yapper because small service businesses lose real jobs when they cannot answer the phone.
Most plumbers, HVAC techs, electricians, roofers, and contractors are not sitting at a desk waiting for calls. They are on job sites, driving, with customers, or asleep when an after-hours call comes in. If the call goes to voicemail, a lot of customers just call the next company.
Yapper is an AI phone receptionist built for that gap. It answers calls 24/7, captures the caller’s name, phone number, job details, urgency, and preferred time, then sends the owner a clean summary. Pro can also flag urgent calls and transfer emergencies.
A few things I wanted to keep clear from day one:
- This is not a generic chatbot.
- It is not trying to replace the business owner.
- It does not pretend to fully book every job.
- It captures the call so the owner can follow up quickly.
