Yak: Mountain Tracker
Track your biggest mountain goals, one peak at a time
Yak is a mountain planning and tracking app built for long-term goals. Plan routes, read trip reports, and log your climbs as you track progress across Colorado 14ers, U.S. state highpoints, Adirondack 46ers, Munros, Seven Summits, or other major mountain goals.
Hi, I'm Barrett! A few years ago, I moved from Washington to Colorado and started working my way through the 14ers with my wife. Along the way, we realized there wasn't really a fun-to-use home for tracking the bigger goals, like climbing all the Colorado 14ers, reaching every state highpoint, or pursuing a quest that might take years to complete.
Most tools are built for a single day or a single outing. They help you plan something beautiful for the weekend, but they don't help you pursue a goal that stretches across seasons or even a lifetime.
We created Yak to be a home for those longer journeys. A place where individual achievements connect into something larger, where progress matters as much as completion, and where the intention is not just to go somewhere, but to build something meaningful over time.
