Hey everyone 👋
I built XVDL because I’m not an X Premium subscriber, but I still wanted a simple and convenient way to save videos from X/Twitter posts directly in Safari.
XVDL adds a small download button to videos, finds the available MP4 variants, and saves them to your Downloads folder. It also works inside Safari web apps created with “Add to Dock.”
I made it to be lightweight, native, and focused on one thing: making X video downloads easier on macOS.
