Hey everyone! I’m the creator of XuTerm.
I built this tablet-first SSH client because I constantly manage Linux servers on iPad and Android tablets inside tmux sessions. It was frustrating switching back and forth between a terminal and separate file viewer just to check exported PDFs, spreadsheets or screenshots.
Most mobile SSH clients lack deep tmux support and cannot preview files directly in the terminal. My solution uses a separate SSH exec channel to fetch files without interrupting your running tasks, avoiding messy binary garbage output on screen.
XuTerm also includes native trzsz resumable transfers, enhanced Mosh for network roaming, SFTP browser, encrypted key storage and more.

I’d love feedback from sysadmins and homelab enthusiasts. What features are you hoping to see next?
Support for OSC 52 would be a great addition so I can copy text to my local clipboard directly from the inline PDF and document previews without needing a separate mouse selection. That would really round out the workflow for terminal-first users like me.
honestly the inline pdf preview in terminal is kind of a game changer, no more alt tabbing to check a file. mosh roaming works pretty smoothly too when i bounced between wifi networks.
