Plan in maps, break down with AI, track in Gantt. No complex setup, no switching tools. Everything you need to turn ideas into impact—nothing you don't.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
We’ve used Xmind for years to think through projects — but execution often lived elsewhere. With v26, we’re bringing lightweight project management into your AI mind map so planning and tracking finally stay in one place.
What’s new
→ Turn nodes into Tasks with dates, priority, and progress.
→ Switch structures: break work down with Org Chart, set milestones on Timeline.
→ Real-time collaboration for comments and edits.
→ Pitch Mode to present updates in one click.
→ Keep each project tidy in Spaces.
Why we built this
Many teams don’t need a heavy PM suite for early-stage work. They want to go from brainstorm → plan → share without context switches. That’s the gap we’re closing.
How we’re different
We start where ideas are born (your map), then add just enough structure to ship. It complements, not replaces, heavyweight tools.
We’d love your feedback and questions—use cases you want supported, gaps you notice, or templates you’d like to see. There’s an interactive demo and a small template pack in the gallery. Thanks for checking us out!
It truly surprised me that Xmind is on Product Hunt again. I got to say that I've been using it for 10 years!
I'm sure no one can leave Xmind when studying or working. It's the best way to clarify the thought. And now Xmind has Gantt, that's super cool for me as a marketer who has lots and lots of ideas and campaigns running every day. I will definitely try it during my project.
This is the workflow I've been waiting for! As a long-time Xmind user, the context switch from brainstorming in a map to managing tasks in a separate tool has always been the biggest friction point. Keeping planning and tracking in one place is a game-changer.
The ability to turn a node into a task with a date feels so natural. I'm especially excited to try the Timeline view for setting milestones.
Hi @hacksman do you position Xmind as a direct competitor of MIRO? I am trying to understand the category of product Xmind is and the usages I could do. Thx !
Hmm… wonder how “AI breakdown” actually works here. Sounds promising though.
Have been using Xmind for years and really like the latest Timeline and Chart feature, it could help you keep everything tide, hope everyone could love this feature!
This new feature - Turn nodes into Tasks with dates, priority, and progress., is excellent.
I’ve planned projects with Xmind for years, and v26 finally connects “from mind map to execution” in a seamless way. Turning nodes into tasks with priority/progress and tracking via Timeline/Gantt cuts the friction of jumping across tools. Spaces is genuinely useful too—it keeps work tidy by organizing across teams/topics. Excited to see the template ecosystem and deeper collaboration refinements next; congrats to the team on the launch! @hacksman
How do existing users update to version 26? I only see version 25 in both the regular release and the beta channel. Long-time user and love Xmind
This is yet another reason why Xmind is the superior choice for mind mapping.
Onwards and upwards with Xmind!

Make Xmind great again, again and again...
Xmind provides a way to skip clunky setups and map out projects visually—turning mind maps straight into Gantt charts is super cool! Curious if the AI breakdown works for really big, messy brainstorms?
You made it so playful, love at first sight. Have you considered implementing editing options? e.g. changing colours of the elements?
The cross-platfrom experience sounds solid, especially for people who switch between devices often.
Just tried Xmind for the first time, love the lightweight blend of mind mapping and project management. Takes a bit to get used to, a quick tips guide would help. Overall, a refreshing and solid launch!
Great ideas and smart move!
Do you plan to get a simple dashboard with all tasks listing from all documents of space? This would make Xmind a great brainstorming to planning tool. No need for complex, just to see all tasks grouped by documents, when they need to be done and who make it. Craft Docs make this.
Does outliner mode will be available online? Actually it seems limited to local maps but It's a great tool for using Xmind like any simple note tool before going into the mindmapping.
thanks and keep going!
This is exactly the missing bridge between planning and doing. Super update!
Finally supports Gantt charts! Can I import Notion's database and Gantt view into Xmind?
