Xerv
Open-source SaaS starter with auth, billing & private data
Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Pablo, the maker of Xerv.
I've spent the past month building an open-source foundation for SaaS products with individual accounts and subscriptions.
Xerv connects Next.js, Supabase and Stripe across authentication, private user data and Free/Pro access. It includes monthly and annual billing, a customer portal, a replaceable example resource, automated tests and setup documentation.
A few decisions that define the project:
• Payment access is verified on the server. Returning from Checkout does not grant Pro.
• Database policies enforce ownership and access to private data.
• The example resource shows how authentication, permissions and subscriptions fit together. You replace it with your own product.
• The scope stays focused: individual accounts and one Pro tier, without teams, seats or usage billing.
You can try email/password authentication locally with Supabase and Mailpit before configuring hosted providers. Deployment uses your own provider accounts and credentials.
The code is MIT-licensed, so you can use it, adapt it and build on it.

I'd love to hear your feedback—questions, suggestions and constructive criticism are all welcome. If you try Xerv, please tell me what works for you and where you get stuck.
Thanks for taking a look!
