x402 List
Independent directory of x402 APIs that AI agents pay for
x402-list is an independent directory of APIs that accept x402, the open HTTP 402 payment standard that lets AI agents pay per request. For each listed service it shows endpoint pricing, accepted networks, monitored uptime from repeated live checks and the settlement activity observed on-chain. Submissions are reviewed by hand. The data is open under CC BY 4.0, with a free API and an MCP server agents can query directly. Not affiliated with Coinbase or the x402 Foundation.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Cosimo. I run x402-list on my own.
x402 is an open standard that uses HTTP 402 so that a client, often an AI agent, can pay for a single API request in stablecoins, without an account or an API key. Once agents can pay, the practical question is which endpoints are worth paying. The directory tries to answer that with measurements instead of claims.
For each listed service you can see:
- the price per endpoint and the networks it accepts, read from its own 402 response
- uptime from repeated live checks
- the settlement activity we observe on-chain for its pay-to address
- how it entered the directory: submitted by its operator, or imported from a public x402 index
A few things it is not. The figures are a measured floor for the services we list, not a total for the x402 ecosystem. Volume is concentrated in a few services, and the homepage says so. An imported listing is not an endorsement by its operator, who can claim it, correct it or ask for removal.
Browsing, API reads and the read-only tools of the MCP server are free, and the data is published under CC BY 4.0. A few extras cost a small x402 payment, such as an on-demand comparison of a shortlist of services, or sustained bulk use of the API.
x402-list is independent and is not affiliated with Coinbase or the x402 Foundation.
I would value feedback on two points: which measurement would make you trust a paid API more, and what is missing if you are building an agent that pays. I will be here all day to answer.
