I'm the maker behind WTMP. The inspiration for building this app came from a common, real-world anxiety: leaving your phone on a café table, a gym bench, or even a living room desk and wondering if someone peeked through your private messages or tried to swipe it while your back was turned.
Standard screen locks are passive defenses—they don't stop someone from physically walking away with your phone, nor do they tell you who tried to guess your passcode.
I wanted to build an active phone guardian. WTMP combines a highly sensitive motion detector with a silent snoop log. If a stranger moves your phone, an earsplitting anti-theft alarm goes off. If a friend or partner tries to look through your notifications, the app secretly captures an intruder selfie so you have full proof.
We’ve custom-built this to be incredibly lightweight, battery-efficient, and easy to arm with a single tap.
