As authors ourselves, we are too familiar with the fragmented services needed to take a manuscript from draft to published. You have one subscription to write a story in, another to format for ebooks, and a third subscription to send ARCs and market your book. All of which is held together in a spreadsheet... per book! It got to be overwhelming, and being engineers we knew we deserved better (and so did every other author we knew.)
We’ve used a lot of services to write, format, and market our books, and we are acutely aware of all of their benefits and shortcomings. We’re working on tightly integrated author-focused features that authors know and love. But we also want to improve on them.
We're starting with a clean and modern UI, and free marketing tools through an Indie Book Directory. Then, we'll be launching into more features with ARC management and a writing interface where authors can plot and outline their stories! Take a look at our about section to learn more about our values and stance on AI.
We are so excited to unveil new features in the coming months, and help writers and authors make their processes easier so they can focus on what matters—writing!
