A vinyl wrap costs $2,500–$6,000 and the customer has to say yes to that without ever seeing the color on their own car. Shops send swatch photos and Instagram links; buyers say "let me think about it" and never come back. That's the whole problem.
So we built the thing that shows it. Pick your car, pick a film, see it — 348 real films from 3M, Avery Dennison and KPMF on 250+ models, each with the manufacturer's actual product code so you can walk into a shop and order exactly what you saw. It's free, no account, no watermark, and it always will be for the person choosing a color.
The hard part wasn't the interface, it was the imagery: chrome, satin, and color-shift films all behave differently under light, and a wrap preview that looks like a paint bucket fill is worse than useless. Every car/film pair is rendered rather than tinted.
The business side is narrow: wrap shops can run the same configurator on their own website, under their own brand, and every build a visitor makes arrives as a lead. Buyers never pay.
Would love feedback on the render quality — especially the color-shift films, they're the ones we're least sure about.
