Hi Product Hunt! I built Woven because editing still means hours of dragging clips around, and chat-only AI tools hand you a video you can't really fix.
Woven is a native Mac editor with an AI agent built in. You import your footage and describe the edit ("tighten the intro, add captions, put the product shots over the voiceover"). The agent does it on a real timeline that you can then fine-tune by hand. It works for long and short video alike: YouTube videos, Shorts, podcasts, gaming clips, Reels.
A few things that make it different:
• It's a real editor, not a black box: every change lands on the timeline where you can adjust it.
• Captions, music, sound effects, and generated images, video and music when you need a shot you don't have.
• Projects are local folders on your Mac.
• Claude Code and Codex can connect to Woven and make videos in it too.
There's a 3-day free trial; then it's $25/month billed yearly or $39/month, with $10 of AI credits each month. It needs macOS 15 or later.
